The Mindfulness Academy for Addiction and Trauma Training (TMAATT)

If you have an ethical concern regarding a certified Mindfulness Based Addiction and Trauma Therapist (MBATT), a Mindfulness Based Recovery Coach (MBRC), or a MBATT Scholar (i.e., therapist or coach in training with TMAATT), or any mental health professional who is certified or is training or has trained with the TMAATT organization, or an ethics concern regarding TMAATT, the consulting supervisors, faculty or employees, please fill out the following information to file an ethics concern. We take all concerns seriously and will investigate them thoroughly.

If your concern or complaint is regarding a professional who has been trained by TMAATT. in order to support the process with integrity, we will be speaking with the professional whom you are filing a concern or a complaint against. This will involve disclosing the nature of the complaint as well as the person (you) filing the complaint.

Note that we are not attorneys, and our role as a training organization is not to settle legal disputes, take sides, provide mediation between people, solve all problems, or settle disputes. We are here to take all concerns and complaints seriously, to follow up on these concerns and complaints, and in some cases, recommend next steps to the very best of our ability.

Additionally, we are not a licensing board and have no jurisdiction over a therapist’s license or a coach’s certification. If you are reaching out regarding a licensing or certification issue that is not related to a certification that TMAATT offers, please direct those complaints and concerns to the licensing or certification board in that therapist or coaches state or region.
